Travis Friedrich founded Parklife Press in 2005. With degrees in mechanical engineering and art from Duke University, Travis set out to explore his love of design and printmaking. Upon acquiring an antique 1904 hand-fed Chandler & Price letterpress, he designed and printed a set of wedding invitations for a close friend. The reaction to these first pieces was so positive that he was compelled to open up shop.
Since then, Parklife Press has grown to become one of the most distinctive letterpress printers in the country, retaining its small size but working with customers all over the world. Throughout this evolution, the company continues to operate on the idea that handmade letterpress stationery can be both sumptuous and affordable. Our goal is to create well-priced, eco-friendly and luxurious stationery that is truly unique and memorable.
